Jimmy Fallon's #ThatWasTMI Tweets Have Us Laughing And Cringing At The Same Time

"That means your parents did it on New Year's Eve!"

There are some things that are better left unsaid. Of course, not everyone abides by that advice, which can lead to some pretty cringeworthy oversharing. The good news is that those comments make for great tweets when Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon asks for funny stories.

This week, Fallon asked viewers to tweet their funniest stories about someone oversharing, using the hashtag #ThatWasTMI. TMI, for those who don't know, stands for "Too Much Information." And that's exactly what you'll be saying when you hear what some viewers had to share.

Stories ranged from oversharing about one's sex life or bodily functions, to actually oversharing about a stranger's life. Take, for example, the cashier who learned someone's birthday was October 2 and declared, "That means your parents did it on New Year's Eve!"

Of course, no hashtag about oversharing would be complete without an embarrassing quote from a mom or dad. In this case, it's the mom who asked her son if he was drunk dialing her, adding, "Well, I'm drunk answering."
