Jimmy Fallon's #MyWeirdTeacher Tweets Have Us Reminiscing About School

From chalkboard cakes to party armadillos.

The fall semester is in full swing, and Jimmy Fallon's latest hashtag segment on The Tonight Show has us reminiscing about our time in school — and all the totally unique teachers we encountered.

Fallon asked his Twitter followers to share their funniest stories about teachers past with the hashtag #MyWeirdTeacher. As always, they didn't disappoint, sharing stories of corny traditions and awkward moments. They may have seemed cringeworthy or eccentric at the time, but a lot of them are sure to have made learning a little more fun.

Viewers' tweets covered everything from a taxidermied armadillo in a party hat ("The Partydillo") to a chalkboard cake on each student's birthday. ("You just had to stand there and blow on a chalkboard until he said the candles went out.")

And, of course, no teacher-related hashtag would be complete without an awkward quote reminiscent of Fallon's past #MomQuotes or #DadQuotes hashtags. Like, for example, the teacher who responded to students' request for "one more sec" on a test with the exclamation, "No more secs!"
