Jimmy Fallon Asks The Roots To Perform His Favorite #FootballRaps From Viewers

"I am not throwing away my pass."

The 2017 NFL preseason kicked off on Thursday with the Hall of Fame game between the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals. So naturally Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon marked the occasion with a special football edition of one of our favorite segments — Hashtags.

Earlier this week, Fallon asked his followers on Twitter to share a funny rap about football with the hashtag #FootballRaps. Viewers didn't disappoint, changing the lyrics to their favorite iconic raps to be about touchdowns and passes. On Thursday night's show, Fallon shared his favorites, and asked Tariq Trotter of The Roots to perform them.

The segment included clever takes on 50 Cent, Bruno Mars, and, of course, Hamilton. "I'm not throwing away my pass / I am not throwing away my pass," one viewer tweeted. "Ayo I'm just like Tom Brady / I'm young, scrappy, and shady / And I'm not throwing away my pass."

There's also a take on Chingy's "Right Thurr" involving "burr" and "churr" (beer and cheer), and even a new version of Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" called "Quarterback Girl," which is everything we never knew we needed.

Check out a few of our favorite tweets that didn't make the cut below, starting with the host himself:
