8-Year-Old Jared Can't Walk Or Talk. But When His Dad Starts Rapping, He Comes Alive.

This is what true love sounds like.

When Jared Correia was still in his mother's womb, he suffered a stroke, which lead to cerebral palsy, epilepsy and a number of other medical conditions. Now at eight years old, Jared can not stand, walk, talk or even see.

But his father, Jayce Correia, told The Huffington Post that Jared's a "real superstar and represents the true definition of courage."

To express his unconditional love and support for his son, Jayce Correia came up with a tear-jerking rap song dedicated to his incredible little superhero.

It's clear in the video how Jayce's emotional words touch his son's heart and mind. The grin Jared flashes to his dad is adorable.

Since the song was posted on Facebook, it has gathered a massive amount of views — 590,000 views and counting.

The lyrics struck a chord with families all over the world, who started sharing their own stories about special needs parenting.

"Anyone who is part of a special needs family knows the struggles and the blessings that come with it. I want people to know that they are not alone. Life is not about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can be hit and keep on going," Jayce told The Huffington Post.

"The height of your strength is tall as a tower. I mean, next to you I feel like a coward."

The family is currently running a funding campaign to buy a new wheelchair accessible van that will make Jared's trips to the doctor and family outings much easier. If you'd like to support their cause, please follow this link to the GoFundMe website.
