James Corden Goes Backstage At The Jingle Ball And Fills In As Taylor Swift's Dancer

Featuring cameos from Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato, and more.

On Thursday night's Late Late Show, James Corden premiered a star-studded edition of his "Take a Break" segment, in which he takes over someone's job for a day. This time, the job he inhabited was that of general manager for The Forum, the Los Angeles concert venue that hosted the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball this past weekend.

Obviously, the segment featured cameos from a few big-name artists who performed at the concert, including Ed Sheeran, Niall Horan, Demi Lovato, Sam Smith, and Liam Payne. Corden did everything from pumping Lovato up for her performance to fixing the television in Payne's dressing room.

But the real pièce de résistance of the entire segment came when Corden heard Taylor Swift had lost one of her backup dancers. He donned his best mesh midriff top and hurried to her rescue.

"Use me," he told her. "I'll slot right in. Problem solved."

As with the host's time as a Magic Mike dancer with Channing Tatum, the role required a bit of practice, as Corden learned the routine for "Look What You Made Me Do." If you're wondering why he didn't end up on stage at the actual show, you'll just have to watch and see what goes down.
