Hugh Jackman, Zendaya, And Zac Efron Join James Corden For A Crosswalk Musical

This time, they took it to New York.

James Corden loves putting on a crosswalk musical. The Late Late Show host has been joined in the past by celebrities such as Lin-Manuel Miranda, Josh Gad, and Seth Rogen to perform songs from the famous musicals Hair, Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King.

Since Corden's show is based on the West Coast, he and his talented casts usually perform in the streets of Los Angeles. This week, however, he took the segment to New York City, with Greatest Showman stars Hugh Jackman, Zendaya, and Zac Efron as his special guests.

Corden explains that his fellow CBS host Stephen Colbert allowed him to perform a Broadway revue outside the Ed Sullivan Theater. Following some questionable coaching, the cast heads out to the crosswalk to perform a few classic songs from the musicals On the Town, Guys and Dolls, and Fame — as well as an exciting Greatest Showman number, with Corden in the role of a lifetime.

Although Corden and Jackman butt heads at one point, and Efron is just generally confused by the proceedings, they end up putting on a great show. And as a bonus, no one gets hit by a car. We'd call that a success.
