Rare Footage Gives A Hilarious Glimpse Into Hillary Clinton's Debate Prep

They practiced everything — and we mean everything.

In an unusual behind-the-scenes look at Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, video footage has appeared of the former Democratic candidate practicing a greeting with "candidate Trump" on the debate stage.

Philippe Reines, who worked for Clinton during her time as Secretary of State, posted the video onto Twitter. He was a stand-in pretending to be Trump, and can be seen trying to hug her, despite an attempted dodge on her part.

Reines posted the video after several news reports surfaced about Benjamin Wittes, a friend of former FBI Director James Comey, who told news outlets that Comey was worried about appearing too close to Trump personally and, at one point, had similarly ducked an embrace.

Comey, who was fired last week in controversial fashion, was unsuccessful in his efforts to remain apart from the political world.

Apparently, the admittedly funny video of Clinton's debate preparation even drew a laugh from the former candidate.

With the onslaught of heavy news from Washington of late, it's nice to see two politicians taking a moment to chuckle at themselves.
