First He Proposed To Her, Then He Proposed To Her 5-Year-Old Daughter

"Adrianna’s reaction was priceless!"

A proposal can a magical and emotional time as it marks the entrance into a new chapter of life. One man named Grant Tribbett got to experience double the excitement of this moment as he proposed twice in one day.

First, he proposed to his girlfriend, Cassandra Reschar, then he made a commitment to her 5-year-old daughter, Adrianna, by "proposing" to her, too.

The trio first had breakfast before enjoying a walk in the woods, where Tribbett proposed. The experience was documented by the couple's friend and photographer Mandi Gilliland.

After proposing to Reschar, Tribbett got down on one knee in front of Adrianna and asked her, "Can I be your daddy, to promise to love and protect you for the rest of your life?"

While Reschar was given the traditional ring, Tribbett presented Adrianna with a heart-shaped necklace in her favorite colors.

And both Reschar and Adrianna said yes!

Gilliland told A Plus via email that the experience was very emotional, even though she did know that Tribbett was planning something for Adrianna. "I've known Cassandra for five years, and she is hard to surprise. But we both wanted this to be absolutely perfect for her and Adrianna! Grant had told me ahead of time that he was planning something for Adrianna."

Reschar told HuffPost, "Adrianna's reaction was priceless! When he presented her with the heart necklace her immediate response was 'thank you!' because she's always been very good about using her manners."

"Knowing all the hardships Cassandra has been through being a single mom, and knowing how much she wanted her family to be complete, just made it all the more special," Gilliland told A Plus. "I am so happy that she found someone to spend her life with and someone to raise her daughter with. I made it through his proposal to Cassandra with minimal tears, but as soon as he got back down [on one knee] for Adrianna and seeing Cassandra's reaction, holding it together was completely out the window."
