Woman Video Chats Her Middle School Crush More Than 10 Years Later — Now They Might Have A Future

Call your crush.

Have you kept in touch with your middle school crush?

In a video for BuzzFeed, Chantel admits to crushing on her friend, Nick, in seventh grade — but nothing ever happened between them.

"Anytime it would get on it's way to flirting, I would always pull back and be like, 'Oh, I don't want him to know that I like him,' which is so dumb!" she says.

According to the video, the two went to separate high schools and, more than 10 years later, they have not seen or spoken to each other.

So she gives him a call on Skype.

The two have undeniable chemistry as they catch up on each other's lives and look back on old memories.

When Chantel asks Nick if he ever knew she had a crush on him, he says: "I think I did. I really think I did. I liked you. I thought that you liked me. I don't know what was going down. Why didn't I ask you on a date?"

Good question.

So, by the end of their chat, Nick teases the idea of a karaoke date, to which Chantel agrees.

Lesson learned? Perhaps our childhood crushes are still around, waiting for us to give them a call.
