Which Pixar Movie Is The Favorite Where You Live? This Map Will Show You.

Wow, people really love "Finding Dory."

Everyone loves Pixar movies — it's a scientifically-proven fact (well, not really) — but which film reigns supreme where you live or where you're from? A new infographic map breaks down exactly that by showcasing which Pixar offering is the most beloved one — or seven if you're Utah — in Washington, D.C. and each of the 50 U.S. states.

Over the past 23 years, beginning with Toy Story in 1995 and through 2018's Incredibles 2, there have been 20 Pixar films to grace the big screen. To celebrate this major achievement, CableTV.com analyzed Google Trends data (from all except the latest Pixar treasure) to see which was the most popular all across the country.

The findings were interesting, with Finding Dory outperforming all others by being the favorite for a staggering 17 states. They also showed that there's love for each and every Pixar installment (all are included to some degree), Utah really loves Pixar (as it had a seven-way tie), and sequels were at least as popular as, if not more popular than, the originals (sorry, Finding Nemo).

As CableTV.com points out, Coco, which was inspired by and takes place on Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday), tops the list for California (home to the largest Hispanic population in the U.S.); Inside Out, which explores mental health, is a favorite in Colorado and Vermont (states with some of the most prevalent mental health issues in the U.S.); and Ratatouille, a movie about a food-loving rat, is the pick for Illinois (home to Chicago, the most rat-infested city in the U.S.).

Here's the map, along with a key and a breakdown of Utah's Pixar adoration:
