Separated Families Meet At The U.S.-Mexico Border For Christmas

It was worth the trip even if they couldn't hug.

Families from Mexico and the United States traveled hundreds of miles to meet each other at the border during the Christmas season. 

Some of the families had been separated for years, so they showed up at the border to simply wave from one side of the fence to their family on the other side. One mother said she traveled from Oaxaca, a state in southern Mexico, just to get a glimpse of her daughter she hadn't seen for fifteen years.
