Witness Decades Of Disney Animation In Under Three Minutes, From 'Snow White' To 'Zootopia'

Prepare to feel nostalgic.

Do you remember the first animated Disney film you saw? The studio has been enchanting audiences young and old for decades, and for many of us, there's no experience quite as nostalgic as revisiting our favorite titles from childhood.

While we would love nothing more than to marathon them all, such a feat would be a serious time commitment. For now, we'll stick to watching "The Evolution of Disney Animation," which condenses nearly 80 years of movies into a video that clocks in at less than three minutes. Fair warning, though — you might end up watching it more than once.

Bora Barroso, a film editor based in Madrid, Spain, collected brief clips from dozens of Disney movies and set them to uplifting music. The video begins with 1937's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (the studio's first animated feature) and ends with 2016's Zootopia. In between, you'll see just how much animation has changed over the years, while reliving some of the most memorable moments from films such as Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast, and Frozen.

Disney's style may have changed, but whether we're watching hand-drawn or computer-generated animation, the magic remains the same.
