Emilia Clarke Displays Power And Strength For Women During Fiery Ending Of 'Game Of Thrones'

You definitely do not want to mess with Daenerys.

If you are going to mess with Queen Daenerys Targaryen, aka "The Unburnt," you should probably think twice about that.

Unfortunately for some very ignorant Dothraki, they didn't quite get the memo.

After she refuses to bow down to the male leaders who essentially want to enslave her at the end of season 6's episode 4 — titled "Book of the Stranger" — the Mother Of Dragons put her fiery powers to use.

Once her would-be enslavers are done throwing a litany of insensitive threats in her direction, Daenerys says she is the one who is strong enough to lead the Dothraki and literally burns the house down in one fell swoop to seize leadership.

While we have seen plenty of ass-kicking on "GoT," these scenes with Emilia Clarke always go beyond the realm of reality and tend to stand out a bit more.

This particular scene really made a bold statement about her characters' ability to fight off the rampant, sexist statements hurled at her and not only come out unscathed, but even stronger than we initially thought.

In this case, revenge was a dish best served hot.

After the episode aired, Clarke was very proud of the epic moment and told Entertainment Weekly, "It's so exciting, very tingly making. Every season I get at least one spine-chilling moment. I just stand up and I go, 'I'm hearing what you're all saying, but funny thing, I'm going to kill you all. I forgot that I have an ace in my back pocket and now I win.' "

Watching her walk out of a burning house of fire to the kneeling Dothraki was definitely a sight, but there was another added element to this scene as well.

Clarke emerged from the burning building with her clothes burnt off, in the nude.

While she thinks that the nudity on GoT could be spread out more evenly to the male characters, she found that it was actually an empowering moment for her and Daenerys.

She added in her comments to EW, "This is all me, all proud, all strong. I'm just feeling genuinely happy I said 'Yes.' That ain't no body double!' "

Even though she said it is never easy to take off your clothes, it was done on a private set and she was "in control of it."

She echoed similar sentiments on Instagram in the past about the effect of doing a nude scene when it is done right.
