Ellen Degeneres Made The Best Parody Video of Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do' For An Even Better Cause

Look what you made Ellen do.

While not everyone is a Taylor Swift fan, Ellen Degeneres sure is. The comedian, daytime talk show host, and self-described member of Swift's "squad" truly believes imitation — with a dash of parody —  is the fondest form of flattery.

After learning Swift's music video for her single "Look What You Made Me Do" from her new album Reputation had received more than 425 million views as of Friday, September 22 (it's now at 458 million), Degeneres knew she had to show her fans its "original cut," which just so happened to feature herself.

Besides noting the sheer number of views, Degeneres used the introduction of her parody video to draw attention to the ongoing need for hurricane relief in the wake of such hurricanes as Harvey and Irma. While Degeneres and her show have already donated a combined $75,000 to the Red Cross and the SPCA of Texas, she encouraged her viewers to come together and help those still in need. "This gave me an idea — think about that, 425 million times," she said. "If you've seen Taylor's music video, put one dollar in an envelope and send it to Hand In Hand Hurricane Relief. That's just all you have to do.

Now that you know what you have to do, look what you made Ellen do:
