2-Year-Old Bottle Flipper, Diagnosed With Cystic Fibrosis, Gets A Surprise On 'Ellen'

Find out how you can help, too.

Over the last year, videos featuring people flipping water bottles have gone viral.

In each video, the goal is simple: flip them "at just the right arc, with just the right amount of liquid inside so that they will perform a Simone Biles-worthy twist in the air and land upright or, better yet, on their caps," as Today.com contributor Allison Slater Tate writes

Recently, former American Idol contestant and current host of Hallmark's Home & Family Matt Rogers uploaded a video of his 2-year-old daughter, Sammy, completing the bottle flip. Millions of views later, Ellen DeGeneres invited Matt and Sammy to her stage.

On The Ellen Show, Sammy immediately won the audience over, waving and applauding and flipping bottles while Ellen spoke with Matt.

Towards the end of the interview, Matt explains that Sammy has been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, and she is undergoing breathing treatments and preventative measures.

With that, DeGeneres announces that Shutterfly will be donating $10,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in an effort to help find a cure. You, too, can donate here
