Watch Ellen's Producer Andy Hilariously Brave A Haunted House With Sarah Paulson

There's an "American Horror Story" theme.

Ellen DeGeneres celebrated Halloween this week by doing one of her favorite things — making her executive producer Andy Lassner uncomfortable. For several years now, it's been an annual tradition for the host to send Lassner through a haunted house, often with a celebrity guest.

Last year, Lassner was joined by singer Ariana Grande at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. After the harrowing experience, the producer told DeGeneres that it would be "the last year we're doing it." Just as we predicted, that turned out not to be true, as this year Lassner returned for a few more scares, this time with American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson.

The resulting video, from "Ellen's Show Me More Show" on YouTube, is just as hilarious as we've come to expect. Although Paulson already experienced the haunted house's American Horror Story: Roanoke theme on set, she was still just as terrified as Lassner, if not more so. (It's not so surprising if you saw DeGeneres scare her three times last month.)

Between the two of them, there's plenty of colorful language and harsh words for the people who jump out at them. "You're not real, you're not Kathy Bates," Paulson tells one of them early on. We're already excited for next year's outing.
