Local Workers Managed To Free This Elephant From A Giant Mud Pit

When humans and animals collide.

An amazing scene unfolded in Kenya last month when a group of construction workers rescued a stranded elephant in a mud pit.

For 12 hours, the male elephant had been thrashing and struggling to remove itself from what appeared to be a mishap while it tried to search for water. Local farmers were unable to help the elephant out of the pit, which is when they decided to call on some local construction workers, according to CatersTV

The scene unfolded near Makindu in southern Kenya, where wildlife photographer Jeremy Goss captured the amazing footage.
