A Teacher Took A ‘1,080th Day Of School’ Photo, And Students And Parents Totally Relate

We've all been there.

It's the start of a new school year and many parents are commemorating the milestone with back-to-school photos. Some of them are heartfelt, others are creative, and some of the back-to-school photos are just hilarious

One funny photo that is going viral was taken by Jennifer Lee, who celebrated her husband Tyrelle's 1,080th day of teaching.

Tyrelle is an eighth-grade teacher at Southern Guilford Middle School in Greensboro, North Carolina. His wife explained to Scary Mommy that she asked him if he would like to take a back-to-school photo and, being a laid-back guy, he agreed. He posed with the classic chalkboard sign with an expression that perfectly captures what people feel when it's time to go back to class.

The sign revealed that Tyrelle's favorite color is "Gator orange," he is 32 years old, he went back to teaching on August 27, 2018, and he loves football, chicken wings, and Vans shoes.

The last line reads, "I can't believe my wife made me do this."

The photo has gone viral since it was shared on August 27, and students, parents, and Facebook users are enjoying it. Jennifer explained that she thought the photo would be a fun idea for her husband to relate to his students because he's always looking for creative ways to engage with them. Given the response he's received online and in his class, the photo seems to have done the job.
