Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Pens A Heartfelt Message To His Girlfriend For Mother's Day

"I’m in constant respect ... of all the things this incredible mama accomplishes."

Over the weekend, people took the time to show appreciation for the mothers in their lives on Mother's Day. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was one of them, and in a beautiful Instagram post, the actor shouted out his girlfriend Lauren Hashian, who posed with their daughters Tiana Gia and Jasmine Lia.

"Happy Mother's Day to my main squeeze [Lauren Hashian] holding my little main squeeze, Jasmine Lia, who's holding my tiniest main squeeze, Tiana Gia," Johnson begins, adding that his daughters' middle names are in honor of their great-grandmothers.

"I'm in constant respect and grateful awe of all the things this incredible mama accomplishes on a daily basis," Johnson continues. He then recaps some of the things Hashian does every day, such as having a 2-year-old and a newborn attached to her constantly and breastfeeding Tiana for hours.

And there's more: "Managing an ever-growing staff of family employees across the country. Picking up the entire family, staff, and dog and moving to multiple locations around the world, throughout the year, because of my filming and production schedule. All while continuing to build an amazing career as a music and songwriter/producer."

"As an artist and businessman myself, I recognize how incredibly hard this part is of her job is. She's a brilliant visionary storyteller and lyrically gifted — all qualities that are hard to tap into when you're managing this nonstop life of ours. But she does it like a brilliant bad ass."

"And here’s the best part and the thing I’m most proud of ... Lauren does it all with a big genuine smile and is truly the kindest and sweetest soul you’ll ever meet."

Johnson adds that others in Hashian's life will note how nice she is, to which he responds:

"I always say, 'Yes she is and being nice runs in our family ... and so does kicking ass, so don't ever get on her bad side.'"

Johnson concludes by writing how lucky he is that Hashian chose him to be her partner, and he asks her to "take a bow" like the queen that she is.

"You're an amazing mama and amazing mamas make this world go around."

Johnson's post acknowledges just how hard mothers work, emphasizing how they will manage their own lives and the lives of those around them at the same time.

We hope mothers felt all the love they deserve this past weekend, and continue to feel loved and appreciated year round.
