Dove's Specially Designed Bottles Shows Beauty Truly Does Come In All Shapes And Sizes

Dove has been championing self-love and body positivity through its Real Beauty campaigns for years, but for its latest campaign, the brand is using its own packaging to get a powerful message across.


Dove created bottles that are different shapes and sizes to show beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, just like people's bodies.

"Real beauty comes in all shapes and sizes – and now our body wash bottles do too. Introducing our limited edition range of Dove Body Washes. The six exclusive designs celebrate beauty diversity to encourage women everywhere to embrace their own individuality.  You can't buy these in store right now but you can help us to spread beauty confidence by using #RealBeauty" 

Dove partnered with Ogilvy London to create the limited-edition bottles. Andre Laurentino, global executive creative director for Unilever at Ogilvy U.K., explained the impact of the specially designed body wash bottles. "The Real Beauty Bottles is one of those rare ideas which condenses decades of a brand's legacy in two seconds," he stated. "It's deceivingly simple and quite nuanced: a message about our body conveyed by Dove bottles themselves, it cares for the physical and the emotional, and it brings brand essence and product design seamlessly together."

The differently shaped bottles may sum up Dove's mission, but they help create a dialogue about inclusion and acceptance that will hopefully last a lot longer. As Dove explains in the campaign video. "There is no perfect size. Real beauty breaks molds. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes"

Here's hoping that the six body wash bottles become permanent additions to Dove's collection so they can help continue to spread messages of positivity.
