She Travels Around Europe With Her ‘Chalkboard Leg,’ Documenting Each Destination In The Most Beautiful Way

"Everyone has shit they have to deal with in life."

From Vienna to Dublin, Amsterdam, Athens, and beyond, one woman's clever documentation of her European vacation is sure to make you smile.

In a series of travel photos shared under her Reddit username devgal, the recent college grad poses with her prosthetic leg, which she spray painted like a chalkboard so she could decorate it as she moved from destination to destination. Bored Panda reports that devgal was born with a congenital bone disease that caused her to lose her right leg when she was just 4 years old.

Devgal's photo series features her posing at a bar in Dublin, over the Cliffs of Moher in the Republic of Ireland, in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, along the coastline in Santorini, Greece, and beyond. And in each photo, the name of the European city is written brightly on her leg.

So far, the photo series has collected more a million views on Imgur, and thousands of comments on Reddit.

"Everyone has shit they have to deal with in life, mine just happens to be my leg. It's really not all that bad," devgal wrote on another Reddit post in January.
