This Young Ventriloquist's Latest 'America's Got Talent' Performance Was As Adorable As It Was Impressive

New puppet Oscar earned a standing ovation.

It's been two and a half months since we last saw Darci Lynne Farmer's ventriloquism act on America's Got Talent. That's because she earned the Golden Buzzer from judge Mel B in the very first episode of the season, sending her straight into the live shows

Those live shows started on Tuesday night, and 12-year-old Darci delivered another spectacularly adorable performance — with help from her new mouse friend Oscar. According to Gossip Cop, Darci explained before the performance, "He's socially awkward just like me."

The pair had some funny back-and-forth as Oscar revealed that he has a bit of a crush on Mel B. Darci reminded him that she's a human and he's a mouse, so it might not work out. "I didn't think that would be an issue," he said. "I mean, Heidi was married to a Seal."

Darci's ventriloquism skills were impressive enough when she made Oscar talk, but it's when she made him sing that she really shined. Oscar dedicated a performance of the Jackson 5's "Who's Lovin' You" to Mel B, and earned a standing ovation from all four judges.

"I mean, most people can't even sing with their mouth open, and you sing so beautifully with your mouth shut!" Klum said after the performance. "I can't believe it."

And in case you're wondering, Mel B said she would totally date Oscar.
