These Dads Show The Importance Of Bonding With Daughters — Even If It Means Bopping Along To Pop Music At A Little Mix Concert

One of them even wore the girl group's T-shirt.

These parents are showing going to a see a pop concert with their young daughters can be just as much fun for dads as it is for the kids. Neil Cooley took his 6-year-old daughter to a concert held by Gloucester Rugby Club at Kingsholm Stadium in England. They saw Little Mix, a British girl group founded on the U.K. version of The X Factor back in 2011. Cooley's friend Joe and his young daughter attended the show along with them.

In a video Cooley posted to Twitter, the two dads can be seen with their daughters sitting up on their shoulders during the show. The four them danced and sang along to Little Mix's pop hit, "Touch."  The video is just 30 seconds long, but it's clear these dads are having a great time bonding with their daughters and bopping along to the music. Cooley even sported a band T-shirt from the girl group.

"Me and Joe enjoyed your concert just as much as our girls did,'' Cooley wrote in a tweet to the band. "Amazing show, loved it."

Of course, parents accompanying their kids to a concert is nothing new, but there's just something so sweet about these dads getting so into the music with their young daughters. (Take one look at these sad dads at One Direction concerts, and you'll see a stark difference.)

While you wouldn't picture them when you think of Little Mix's fan base, they clearly made the most out of their time at the show — and made others smile while doing it.

And social media definitely agrees. Cooley's video has been shared on Twitter more than 15,000 times and has over 40,000 likes in just one week. The video also has more than 4 million views on LADbible's Facebook page

Based on the responses on Twitter and Facebook, people couldn't get enough of these dads and their daughters.

Even Little Mix member Jade Thirlwall responded to the video, using the girl group's Twitter account. She thanked the dads for the video and said it "made [her] day."

We have a feeling these daughters — and their dads — will look back even more fondly on this concert now.
