Star Wars fans announced their pregnancy with their "Child Awakens" birth announcement. The uncle-to-be also pointed out a funny twist. "My exact words before taking the picture were, 'The funny part of this announcement is that this implies, one day, he/she's gonna kill you!" he wrote on Reddit.

3. "It Still Works!"

Amanda Diesen and Todd Krieg met while she was working as a therapist in a paralysis center where Krieg was a patient. Their viral pregnancy announcement made reference to the fact Krieg became paralyzed from the chest down after a dirt bike crash, and the likelihood of them conceiving naturally was very low. Thankfully for them, "It still works." 

4. The Beyoncé photo shoot.

When Beyoncé announced that she was pregnant on February 1, the viral photo shoot spawned many reactions and memes. It also inspired Australian author Zoë Foster Blake's own baby announcement. She wrote on Instagram, "When @beyonce and I fell pregnant at the exact same time, we were so happy. We made a best friend pact to announce the news with high-concept, oversaturated floral imagery and mismatched lingerie on the SECOND of February. But not only did my 'best friend' announce her pregnancy on the FIRST of February, she added an extra baby to make sure HER announcement was more special. Unfortunately, as you can see, news of her betrayal came through mid-photo shoot, but you get the gist."

5. Batman, Batwoman, and ... Robin.

A Batman-loving couple celebrated their pregnancy with a themed photo shoot. The dad-to-be-dressed up as Batman and the mom-to-be as Batwoman. The photo series shows "Batwoman" revealing to "Batman" she's pregnant by holding up a little Robin onesie. They captioned the photo "My wife and I have a sidekick on the way."

Couples love to incorporate pets into their pregnancy announcements, but these expectant parents came up with a unique angle by reading pregnancy books with their dog.

7. The classic baby announcement pun.

Putting a new spin on the "Ice Ice Baby," this funny couple turned the popular song lyrics into a hilarious photo to reveal they were expecting a little one.

8. Eviction Notice. 'Nuff said.

Expectant parents revealed they were expecting baby #2 by posting an eviction notice on their firstborn's crib. The viral Instagram post read, "EVICTION NOTICE: Please Note That Your 'Only-Child' Status Will Expire Within 18 Weeks. You are required to VACATE the Premises as a New Tenant is Expected on June 25, 2017. -Thanks, Management aka Mommy and Da Da P.S. ISSAAA BOOOOYYYYYYY!!!!" 

Of course, this isn't the only baby to get the dreaded eviction notice.  

9. "I'm Not The Father."

Coming July 2015

A same-sex couple put their own twist on a pregnancy announcements with their cheeky T-shirts. One woman wore a shirt saying, "I'm pregnant." and other wore a shirt that said "I'm not the father" one. They described it on Imgur as "a nontraditional baby announcement for a nontraditional family."

10. The Starbucks helper.

The Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino wasn't around for very long, but one mama-to-be took advantage of it to tell her husband she was expecting.

11. No Drinking.

This funny couple worked the mama-to-be's love of craft beer into their drink-themed announcement. The Imgur post describes the pregnant woman as going through "mixed emotions."
