Plane Froze To The Ground? These Russians Ain't Got Time For That

Ain't nobody got time for that.

Remember that cringeworthy feeling when youur flight gets delayed? Well, what if it gets delayed because the freakin' plane froze to the ground?

What you will see below is definitely not an action movie scene, but a real life situation from the Igarka airport in Russia (above the Arctic circle). The Soviet-era aircraft literally froze to the ground because "the wrong kind of grease was used for the landing gear," Siberian Times reports.

However, the staggering minus 52C temperature didn't stop these bravehearted passengers from rolling up their sleeves and moving the plane from it's place.

Men, who are mostly oil and gas workers traveling back to Krasnoyarsk, were  shouting "Come on, push!", and encouraging each other to budge the 30 ton  aircraft, Siberian Times claims.

"Due to the low air temperatures, the chassis's brake system froze and a tow truck was unable to move the plane onto the taxiway to carry out the flight. The passengers on board got out of the plane and started pushing it onto the taxiway," Euronews reports.
