Tyra Banks And Chrissy Teigen Want People To Stop Asking Women This Question

"One day, you're going to ask the wrong girl who is really struggling and it's going to be really hurtful."

We've come a long way in women's equality. Today, women can vote, become CEOs and scientists, and — for the most part — be as proud of their sexuality as men have been able to for centuries. Despite those gains, the nagging expectation that women want to have babies — no question — remains.

For married women, that translates to being asked by everyone and their uncle the dreaded question: "When is the baby coming?"

On their talk show FABLife, models Tyra Banks and Chrissy Teigen opened up about such prying questions about their lives.

Teigen said she's fielded so many of these questions since she got married to crooner John Legend two years ago.

She then said that she and Legend had seen fertility doctors and that these questions can hurt someone who is really struggling.

Banks chimed in on the issue with an emotional revelation.

The former supermodel said that since age 23, she'd tell herself it would be three years until she gets children.

The lesson of this story?

Don't ask a woman — or anyone, for that matter — when they're going to have a baby. Because you never know what they're going through and it really isn't anyone's business but theirs, anyway.
