Céline Dion Shares Her Emotional Journey This Year After Losing Her Husband

She reminds us that "the show must go on."

It's been almost a year since French Canadian singing sensation Céline Dion lost her husband René Angélil, and then, just days later, her brother Daniel. In that time, she has returned to her show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, released her 26th studio album, received an Icon Award from the Billboard Music Awards, and much more. As she sang in her chill-inducing cover of a Queen classic, "the show must go on."

It's that uplifting message that drives the new retrospective video Dion's team shared on her Facebook page this week, with footage chronicling the months from Angélil's death in January to Dion's Las Vegas show at the end of November. In between, the singer delivered some incredible performances and even made us laugh from time to time. "To mark the end of 2016, Céline and her team will share a few highlights from this year. #TheShowMustGoOn," reads the video's caption.

The video ends with this touching message for Dion's fans, presented in both English and French: "My voice does not resonate without you. You have made my childhood dream come true. I hope I have inspired you to reach out for yours."
