Cash Warren's Birthday Message To Jessica Alba Makes A Beautiful Point About Love

"I say it every year, but I’ll never get used to how quickly time flies."

On her 37th birthday, Jessica Alba woke up to breakfast in bed and a sweet surprise from her husband, film producer Cash Warren. The night before her special day, Warren wrote a loving letter to Alba to share how much she means to him. He penned the post on Instagram while she was sleeping next to their two daughters, Honor and Haven.

"It's the eve of your birthday, you're sleeping, our daughters are next to you in our bed, and I couldn't think of a better time to write you a short note," Warren wrote, alongside a photo of Alba dancing in a white dress. "I say it every year, but I'll never get used to how quickly time flies."

"We can turn tiny moments into landmark events or we can accept that landmark events are simply fleeting moments. Either way, I'm slowly realizing there's no real way to keep tabs on life .... sadly, the specific memories fade but somehow we're able to hold on to the feelings those memories create. And those feelings shape who we are and who we'll become," he continued. "If I could thank you for one thing on your birthday, I'd thank you for giving me all the feelings."

He ended his note by promising to continue to cherish all their moments together — both tiny and monumental. "Cheers to you and another 365 days of having all the feels! Happy Birthday my babe!!" he wrote.

The sweet note is giving everyone else "all the feels" — including Gabrielle Union who commented "All the tears" and Chrissy Teigen who tagged husband John Legend and wrote, "read and learn."

Cash's words may have been meant for Alba, but they're a sweet reminder to treasure all the moments we have with the ones we love and hold onto the way they make us feel.
