Aziz Ansari Raps, Speaks Six Languages, And Offers Fashion Advice In 'Vogue's' '73 Questions'

We love his idea for protest sweatpants.

Can you say "I'm hungry" in six different languages? Aziz Ansari can. It's just one of 73 things we learned about the comedian in a new installment of Vogue magazine's "73 Questions" series, which has previously featured stars such as Selena Gomez, Neil Patrick Harris, and Simone Biles.

The magazine caught up with Ansari in Los Angeles before he was due east for this week's Met Gala, and the topics of conversation ranged from comedy to fashion to music. He even made the interviewer a smoothie, but don't call him a "foodie" — he hates that word.

After revealing that Marcello Mastroianni is his style icon, Ansari suggests a trend that should come back in style: "Sweatpants with the words on the butt, but you integrate it into protest culture." Hey, this could be a genius way to save poster board.

Ansari goes on to demonstrate his most used emoji, reveal his childhood crush, rank Kanye West's albums, and rap his favorite DMX verse. And for fans of the Master of None star's parents, have no fear — he also reveals the best lesson they ever taught him: "Be nice to people and work really hard."
