Ariana Grande Loves Halloween, So James Corden Took Her To An Escape Room

The perfect Carpool Karaoke detour.

There's nothing like watching Ariana Grande and James Corden make their way through a spooky escape room to get you in the Halloween spirit. During Grande's Carpool Karaoke segment earlier this year, the pair made a detour to the haunted attraction, and we finally got to see it on Tuesday's episode of The Late Late Show.

Grande shared that she loves Halloween, explaining, "I love being scared. I think it's so much fun." She said she enjoys visiting haunted houses and escape rooms, which Corden revealed he had never been to. So the singer suggested they go through one together.

The two made their way through a series of scary scenes, with a couple of jumps along the way. Ultimately, their escape mostly involved running away. In the process, we learn how Grande injured her hand — as she previously shared a photo of herself wearing a bandage after filming. "Don't I look kinda hard?" she said as she showed it off.

It's not the first time Grande has visited a frightening locale for our entertainment. In 2016, she and Ellen DeGeneres' producer Andy Lassner braved a haunted house together. However, the singer had a few words about Corden's choice: "That's not an escape room. That's one of the seven gates to hell."
