A Mobile Laundromat Is Letting Indonesian Tsunami Evacuees Wash Their Clothes For Free

Provided by a cleaning products company, the laundromat is doing a world of good.

After a December volcano trigged a tsunami along Indonesia's coast, many of those in affected towns were left not only without house and home but without adequate means to clean their clothing. So the charitable arm of cleaning products company Wings Corporation swept in and offered a helping hand, via a mobile laundromat.

"We feel we are being helped a lot due to this free washing service," Salimah, a 35-year-old evacuee, told Reuters.
