This Short Movie Proves That You Just Need To 'Do You' For Someone To Fall In Love With You

"At that moment, I was sure. I fell in love."

Women always ask themselves this question. How do I make someone fall in love with me? Is it about losing weight? Flattering clothes? Perhaps liking the same sports team?

The answer might be simpler than you think. Or so this short movie, written and directed by Caroline Koning, an Amsterdam-based creative, suggests. Shot from the boyfriend's perspective, it follows a young woman named Bo as she goes about her day, while her boyfriend talks us through how he fell in love with her.

"She couldn't stop talking about her neighbors cats and dogs," he says in French. "I didn't even listen. I didn't care. But it didn't matter to her. EIther way, she couldn't stop talking with her mouth full of chicken kebab. At that moment, I was sure. I fell in love."

And he continues to falling in love with Bo. Over and over again.

"The video gives insight into a loving relationship from the point of view of 'the boyfriend,'" explains Koning's Vimeo channel. "Little details, stupid things, and charming elements are the things why he's in love with her, even when that means eating kebab, walking into metro gates, and acting out the same film scene every single day."
