This Woman Turns Trash Into Beautiful Works Of Art

So. Cool.

One person's trash is another person's medium.

25-year-old visual artist Elisa Insua uses the items her friends throw away to piece together gorgeous mosaics. "It's that meaningless trash that people keep in their drawers and can be immortalized in a work of art," Insua writes on an Instagram blog.

Insua transforms trash into portraits, maps, and even decked out sneakers. Her works are filled with everything from dusty dominos to old cell phones. She basically turns your embarrassing junk drawer into something you'd actually want to hang on your wall for everyone to see.
