Model Recreates 100 Years Of Female Fashion By Decade. The Result Is Stunning.

We ALL wanted that look in 1995

Fashion has a very real ability to define a culture in a way that not many other things can. It's easy to recall that poodle skirts were popular in the 1950s and flapper dresses were the rage in the 1920s.

MODE has produced a video called "100 Years Of Fashion In 2 Minutes" that shows one model wearing the biggest clothing, hair, and makeup trends from each decade over the last 100 years.

As the model gets transformed for each decade, it's almost hard to remember she's the same person.

It all starts back in 1915... Keep reading and see how styles and our culture evolved.

Though being conservative was key, royal colors, gorgeous lace, and fantastic hats brought a tremendous sense of style to everyday attire.

The 1920s were a time for women to start showing a little skin. Hats were still in style, but dresses became breezy and fun.

The twirly skirt and embellished top give a playful look to this Depression-era dress.

This post-War skirt suit showed how poised and stylish a mid-length hemline could be.

Expecting something that fell right out of a sock hop? This floral dress highlights the glam side of the 1950s.

The combination of the bright pink ensemble paired with those white gloves is poised and perfect.

This jumpsuit with a big flared leg is so 70s, and the scarf in her hair and big sunglasses are completely on point.

Glam was the name of the game in the 1980s. Big hair? Check. Caked on makeup? Check. Huge pieces of costume jewelry? Check.

The headband, chocker, mini backpack, and chunky shoes remind us all what we loved to wear in the 90s. And that floral, long-sleeved dress? It is everything.

After Y2K, fashion was all about taking it easy. Fitted jeans, cami, cute shoes, done.

Today, we're still all about taking it easy with distressed jeans and slouchy tops. We've come a long way from corsets and petticoats!
