100 People Were Asked To Name Their Best Feature. Their Answers Show The Importance Of Self-Love.

"C'mon, I'm alluring."

While we often give compliments to others, we often forget to dole them out for ourselves. So, to help people recognize their own value, 100 people were asked to name their best features in a new video for Cut.

While some of the participants name physical attributes — such as teeth, eyes, hair, and lips —  others focus on their personality traits and name their intelligence, kindness, and honesty as their best feature.

"I'm a 7-foot tall drag queen," one person says. "C'mon, I'm alluring."

"My beautiful soul," another adds.

While the video is a simple one, it seems to bring out a sense of happiness amongst the participants, and we think it's an exercise everyone should try.

Body-positive role models like Ashley Graham and Winnie Harlow have echoed the importance of such self-reassurance in their work, too. Just recently, Harlow posted a photo to Instagram writing, in part: "I don't find my beauty in the opinions of others. I'm beautiful because I know it. Celebrate your unique beauty today ([and] every day)!"
